At various times throughout our lives we pause and ask ourselves, “Are we on the right path, headed in the right direction?” Priorities are easy to confuse along the way. I have never read a tombstone containing the phrase: “If only I had spent more time in the office!” In fact, the older we get the more we value time spent with family and friends rather than away from them. My hope is that I have made necessary course corrections along the way to prioritize those most important things. I appreciate these words from Abraham Lincoln. “It is not the years in your life that count. It is the life in your years.” I want to live each day to make a difference. I want to smile more, laugh more, love more, and live more. What are you doing to put more life in your years?
