“True religion is real living; living with all one’s soul, with all one’s goodness and righteousness” (Albert Einstein). To many, the questions of what is true religion and where to find it are most elusive. As a young adult I was faced with these same questions. I had attended church with my family without questioning. However, upon reaching my adolescent years with my “superior knowledge button” engaged, I questioned nearly everything my parents had taught. I felt the need to question everything previously learned. I didn’t see the need to learn from those who have gone before. Thankfully, my parent’s loving examples kept me from drifting too far astray before discovering – in my zeal to question—the real source of all truth. Tapping into that source took me to my knees seeking answers to all those nagging questions. Gratefully a loving Heavenly Father answered those prayers. With this knowledge I am now trying to live, with all my soul, the tenants of true religion embraced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Covenant-keeping brings a multitude of blessings, and one of them is a deep and abiding happiness.
